The Ministry of agriculture proposes to reduce the list of products included in the forecast balances of trade between Russia and Belarus.
"We consider it necessary to reduce the number of items in the forecasted balance sheets, they are vegetable oil, eggs, and flax, they do not have a large impact on the volume of mutual trade," - said the Minister of agriculture of the Russian Federation Alexander Tkachev at the meeting of the Supreme Council of the Union state on Friday in Moscow.
According to him, it is necessary to leave only milk, meat and sugar in the list. Russia and Belarus annually approve the forecast balances of supply of agricultural products and foodstuffs to the markets of both countries.
Alexander Tkachev also said that the volume of trade in agricultural products and foodstuffs between the two countries exceeded $4 billion last year, 4% more than in 2015.
