The Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation expects growth in meat and milk production in 2020
"In 2020, we expect growth in both meat and milk production. It will be small, but there will be growth", said Dmitry Patrushev, the head of the Department, during a meeting with President Vladimir Putin (a transcript of the meeting was posted on the Kremlin's website on Monday).
The Minister noted that in 2019, the production of livestock and poultry amounted to 15.2 million tons.
