The Ministry of agriculture: on January 20, the weighted average price for raw milk to farmers amounted to 24.74, RUB/kg

Average consumer prices on 16.01.2017 made: for pasteurized milk – 51,54 RUB/kg (+ 0.3 percent for the week, + 0.5% from the beginning of 2017); butter – 490,98 RUB/kg (+ 0.6% for the week, + 1,0% from the beginning of 2017); cheese – 467,10 RUB/kg (+ 0.3 percent for the week, + 0.5% from the beginning of 2017).

According to the results of weekly monitoring of milk yield and milk sales as of January 16, 2017, the daily milk yield made 40.5 thousand tons per day (3.9% more compared to the same period of 2016). Sales of milk during the same period amounted to 38.1 thousand tons (3.7% more compared to the same period in 2016).

According to operative data of the Federal customs service of Russia (excluding trade with the countries of the EEU) in the current year (as of 15.01.2017) compared to the same period in 2016, the imports of cheese decreased by 36.1%. Supplies of butter increased from 0.4 thousand tons for the same period of 2016 to 0.5 thousand tons in the current year. The supply of milk powder from abroad in the current year amounted to 0.8 thousand tons (countries-suppliers: Argentina, Uruguay, Switzerland, and Turkey). The share of the CIS countries in total imports of milk powder is not more than 18%.
