"The Ministry of industry and trade of Russia and the Federal customs service of Russia, taking into account the information received, the volume of goods produced on the territory of the Russian Federation and the available stocks, submit proposals to the government of the Russian Federation to restrict the export of these groups of goods. The deadline is March 25, 2020, then - on a weekly basis. The Ministry of agriculture, the Rosselkhoznadzor and FCS of Russia taking into account the information received and the volumes of goods produced in the territory of the Russian Federation and available stocks have to submit proposals on the limitation of exports of the respective product groups to the government of the Russian Federation. The deadline is March 25, 2020, then – on a weekly basis", says the document.
Similar instructions were also given to the Russian Ministry of health.
On March 17, first Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov at a meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin with members of the government said that the authorities are ready to impose restrictions on the export of essential products from Russia, but there is no such need yet. According to him, this will be done if there are not enough stocks.
