The Ministry of agriculture: there are no grounds to limit transportation of dairy products from the Vladimir region

The situation with the outbreak of foot and mouth disease (FMD) in Vladimir region is under control and there is no basis for imposing any restrictions on the transportation of dairy products produced in the region, said the Ministry of agriculture of Russia.
As it was reported at ria.ru with reference to the review of the Federal agricultural Department, "currently, all the population of susceptible animals (cattle, small cattle and pigs) were alienated and destroyed. On October 26 new cases of FMD are not registered".
Earlier, reminds The DairyNews, it was reported that Rospotrebnadzor has asked several retailers to withdraw from sale about 4 thousand tons of dairy products, which were produced by the structure PepsiCo - Opole. The request was associated with the detection of FMD in the company of "VKV", which supplied raw milk to the "Opole". According to PepsiCo, the company delivered to the factory no more than 6-7 tons of raw milk, however, the holding assured that all the products produced by the plant during the period October 1 – 19, were taken from the shelves.
Later it became known that Rosselkhoznadzor has started an internal investigation into the actions of the veterinary service of Vladimir region "in connection with the possibility of getting FMD into milk for the dairy plant "Opole".
