The Ministry of agriculture wants to include dairy products into the EVC system since April 2019
- We have postponed the decision to include dairy products into “Mercury” system for a year. Considering that the system works normally, we, together with Sergey Alekseevich Dankvert (the Head of Rosselkhoznadzor – the edition), plan to launch finished dairy products by April", - told Lut.
According to the Deputy Minister, there are already companies ready to start working in the “Mercury” system with finished dairy products.
- We would like companies to start using this system in the framework of dairy products. It would be reasonable for everybody, - declared Oksana Lut.
It should be reminded that obligatory EVC including finished dairy products was to enter into force in Russia since July 1. Later, however, the finished dairy products were excluded from the list of goods to be accompanied by electronic accompanying veterinary documents in accordance with decree of the Ministry of agriculture.
During the exhibition Golden autumn, the Head of the Ministry of agriculture Dmitry Patrushev raised the issue that the finished dairy products must be returned to the EVC system. He stressed that the Ministry is studying the issue carefully.
