The Ministry of Industry and Trade suggests not to issue veterinary certificates to dairy enterprises that are not registered in the “Honest mark" system
The Ministry proposes to include an item on checking the registration of a dairy product manufacturer in the labeling information system in the rules for organizing work on the registration of veterinary accompanying documents. If manufacturers are not registered in the "Honest mark" system, then they may be refused to issue a veterinary certificate.
As noted in the CATD, fully mandatory labeling of all types of dairy products at all stages will be introduced since December 1, 2021. According to them, thanks to the amendments proposed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, already this year it will be possible to exclude from the legal field those who do not register in the system. This will speed up the whitewashing of the market, identify illegal companies.
Earlier, we reported that, according to Dmitry Matveev, General Director of Kabosh Group of Companies, the main disadvantage and problem of the labeling system are economically unjustified and inefficient expenses.
