The Ministry of industry and trade: the production of equipment for the dairy industry, including equipment for cheese production increases in Russia
"Today, Russian machine builders offer a wide range of products for all stages of the technological cycle, starting with equipment for milk receiving and ending with automatic machines for packaging of finished dairy products. The equipment for the production of cheese increases its the position: over the past two years, the Ministry of industry and trade supported the project for the production of sets of equipment for farm dairies of different capacity", - said Head of the Ministry of industry and trade Denis Manturov, quoted by the press service of the Department.
According to him, there is also has a high share of domestic pasteurization and cooling plants and capacitive equipment for milk storage on the market.
The Minister noted that in order to stimulate the development of new types of import-substituting products, the Ministry provides subsidies to Russian machine-building enterprises to compensate part of the costs of research and development work. "In accordance with the draft strategy for the development of engineering for food and processing industry for the period up to 2030, we plan to ensure the growth of sales of domestic products, including equipment for livestock, three times by 2030", Manturov said.
According to him, to increase the share of Russian food equipment in the domestic market, the Ministry of industry and trade is implementing a set of measures to support demand. Thus, processors of agricultural raw materials and food producers can purchase Russian equipment at a discount of 15% (20% - for remote regions), get a loan at a reduced rate of not more than 5.7% per year, as well as pilot samples of machines with a discount of up to 50% of the cost.
"The mechanisms of state support for manufacturers of machinery and equipment for the dairy industry operating in Russia allow fully solving the problems of technological equipment of the dairy industry and ensuring reaching a new technological level by Russian producers", concluded D. Manturov.
