Milk production in 2017, will rise to the level of 31 million tons (101% to the level of 2016) while maintaining the number of dairy cattle and increasing its milk production, follows from the forecast of the National report on the results of the implementation of the state Program of agricultural development in 2016.
In addition, it is noted in the materials of the National report that this year, the slowdown in the development of livestock industries will be associated with limited access to export markets, as well as the slow recovery of consumer demand.
"The main factor limiting the access to foreign markets for certain products, is the strict requirements from the promising export directions for veterinary documentation in the background of the unfavorable epizootic situation in the country", - stated in the National report prepared by the Ministry of agriculture.
