The pandemic has disrupted traditional logistics chains and the distribution network of our farmers - Viktoriya Abramchenko
- Small-sized farms - peasant farm holdings traditionally sold their products at small fairs, non-stationary retail outlets, which were closed. In addition, most farmers were not able to sell their products. Therefore, we have provided several areas of support for farmers in the national plan. The first big block is sales, in order to expand the presence of "small ones" in various forms and formats of trade. The second block is traditionally land issues, including the possibility of selling products grown on their own land. Similarly, on non-stationary forms. The third area, which is very important and which turned out to be "convex" during the pandemic, is electricity tariffs. There are several instructions from the President, and we need to "finish" this story, - she said.
Separately, Victoria Abramchenko focused on a block that is not directly related to the pandemic, but will give a multiplicative effect – mechanical engineering.
- We have agreed, and Mr. Putin supported – we are grateful to him for this - that in 2020 we give additional impetus to the development of the program 1432, under the responsibility of the Ministry of industry and trade, and through the capitalization of “Rosagroleasing” we give the possibility to supply more farm equipment at subsidized rates to agricultural producers, - said Victoria Abramchenko.
Earlier, she said that support for small businesses was included in the draft national plan for economic development.
