The price of importing dairy products to Russia has broken a new record

This is a new record indicator this year.

In dollars, the import price was 0.55 USD/kg, 3% higher than last week's level.

The key factor in the growth of the import price was the increase in prices for exchange products at the auctions of BUCE and Trigona. At the BUCE auction, the prices of butter increased by 13.13%, and of whole milk powder - by 10.5%. At the Trigona Dairy Trade auction, the prices of butter and whey powder increased, the prices of skimmed milk powder and cheese remained at the level of previous auctions.

Taking into account the increase in prices for exchange-traded products, the import price of a pair of skimmed milk powder + butter increased by 4.4% to 45.48 rubles/kg (1 kg in terms of milk), the price of whole milk powder increased by 10.3% to 33.5 rubles/kg. Only the import price of a pair of cheese + whey decreased by 0.12% to 34.29 rubles/kg.

We remind that the Dairy Index DIA also broke a new record and reached 30.66 rubles/kg (excluding VAT, fat-3.6%, protein-3.0%), which is 1% higher than last week and 8.2% higher than at the beginning of November 2020.
