The productivity of the dairy plant Ruzskoe moloko has decreased because of labeling
According to the expert, in general, after introduction of mandatory digital labeling, the enterprise operates relatively stable, since it works manually with cheese labeling.
At the same time, Anna Boyko highlighted several problems faced by representatives of the enterprise, noting that the packaging with double Data-matrix codes from printing houses was received at the plant.
The expert also highlighted the need for increased costs associated with an increase in the number of employees, as well as a long wait for answers from the CATD.
‘There are technical problems that we eliminate as they arise. There were problems with creating a product card in the national catalog - the system did not see the existing barcode,’ stressed Anna Boyko.
She also said that the company has additional costs for the purchase of labels, the application of labeling codes on them at the enterprise, their losses when setting up printing equipment and staff working hours.
‘Taking into account our cheese production volumes, labeling - putting the code on the packaging, reading, sending reports - is carried out manually. Because of this, labor productivity has decreased. Besides reducing labor productivity, an additional burden is imposed on the staff, and, accordingly, additional duties have to be paid. On other lines, an approach with manual labor is impossible, since these are high-performance lines,’ Anna Boyko stressed.
The expert said that the company needs automation of production, the costs of which will amount to about 18 million rubles, with subsequent annual maintenance costs of about 12 million rubles for system maintenance.
‘And this is if they do not subsequently make changes to the government decree that could complicate the accounting system. Currently, our products with a short shelf life do not require aggregation, which means that no significant restructuring of all logistics processes is required. This simplifies the task somewhat. It is worth noting at the same time that there was lagging of the "Honest mark" system, and it takes the CATD a long time to respond to any appeals,’ Anna Boyko concluded.
Earlier, we reported that labeling costs of EkoNiva will increase due to new requirements for manufacturers.
