The Rospotrebnadzor allowed specialists on labeling to enterprises
Earlier, the Rospotrebnadzor published recommendations on work organization of enterprises in conditions of the risk of COVID-19 spread, according to which access to enterprises was restricted to people not related to their activities.
"Taking into account the fact that the employees of the CATD (the operator of the labeling system is the Center for the advanced technology development – note from TASS) need to install the equipment necessary for labeling dairy products with identification tools, we believe that they do not belong to people related to the company's activities", the letter says.
The document specifies that a similar decision was made for companies that produce mineral and drinking water.
The pilot project on labeling of dairy products began in July 2019. Starting from January 20, 2021, it is planned to start mandatory labeling for certain groups of dairy products, for other groups - no later than in October 1, 2021. The experiment on water labeling, according to the government decree, is being conducted from April 1, 2020 to March 1, 2021.
