The Rosselkhoznadzor excluded the delay of EVC for dairy products

According to Nikolay Vlasov, in the market there is a myth going around that part of the suppliers cannot be integrated into the FSIS "Mercury". It is not true, assured in an interview with the "RG" Nikolay Vlasov, stressing that some retailers are really ready. But part of them is not ready and they are even not preparing for this. Especially in small retail.

The Deputy Head of the Rosselkhoznadzor stressed that the department insists on the absence of penalties after July 1, 2018 - since this date EVC will be obligatory.

- It’s absolutely true that there will be no one hundred percent transition to EVC. And it will be not even 90 percent, but less. Remember the situation with the Unified state automated information system in the production and selling of alcoholic beverages, many were not ready to the transition to this system until the last moment too. So what? Did anyone go bankrupt as a result or is there less vodka in the country now? - said Vlasov.

Earlier, the Ministry of agriculture has published a draft document that withdraws finished dairy products from the list of products subject to electronic veterinary certification, reports The DairyNews. The document is currently under public discussion, which will last until 27 June. In early June, the Head of the Ministry of industry and trade Denis Manturov said that "Mercury" will not be applied to a number of types of finished food products of animal origin, these products will be under the action of data matrix or QR-code. Manturov stressed that the raw materials will go to the enterprise in accordance with the system "Mercury", and the finished dairy products will be subject to labeling.

At the same time the Rosselkhoznadzor is convinced that there should be no concessions in terms of the EVC since July 1.

- No postponing is expected, as there was no positive effect of the last delay in the introduction of EVC. On the contrary, as soon as the decision to postpone was made, the effect was rather negative. Representatives offering all sorts of adjustments and transfers are afraid that inspection authorities will see the balance of incoming raw materials and outgoing products. As soon as there is some exception, all negativity will go in this direction, - emphasized Nikolay Vlasov.
