The Rosselkhoznadzor imposed restrictions on the supply of milk from Belarus
The restrictions will come into force on July 16, 2018.
The Head of the Rosselkhoznadzor Sergey Dankvert also noted that the Department had found a discrepancy between the volumes of production declared by Belarusian enterprises and the volumes of dairy products actually exported to Russia. According to the Rosselkhoznadzor, a number of Belarusian enterprises officially have a significantly less capacity than the actual volumes supplied, which may indicate the supply of products under forged documents.
Other Belarusian enterprises announce the supply of their products in volumes several which is several times higher than those recorded by the Rosselkhoznadzor inspectors at the border of Russia and Belarus.
"This, in turn, suggests that large volumes of Belarusian products deliberately bypass the official control points of the Rosselkhoznadzor, which are located on the key routes of the administrative border of the two countries. Thus, it can be assumed that such companies have something to hide", — stated in the message Rosselkhoznadzor.
In addition, according to the Department, a number of Belarusian enterprises do not supply milk to Russia at all, but the Rosselkhoznadzor inspectors record the facts of such supplies.
