The Rosselkhoznadzor revealed a fraud with dairy products
The sources noted that the state veterinarian of the Kabardino-Balkar Republic, Makoev Hamidbi Khautievich, participated in illegal activities, that is, he made all records in the FSIS “Mercury” and issued electronic veterinary documents. In 2021, 8.3 tons of dairy products (milk, kefir and butter) made fr om unknown raw materials, the origin of which is not confirmed by veterinary accompanying documents, were sent to the state institutions of the region. The supplier of the goods was LLC Benelia.
The Rosselkhoznadzor clarified that the analysis of data in the “Mercury” system revealed a scheme of documentary substitution of a low category of meat products for a high (more expensive in value terms), which was carried out by the state veterinarian of Krasnodar region Goncharov Sergey Nikolaevich.
‘By registering several production operations and moving products between the enterprises serviced by this doctor, 9.5 tons of chicken meat in carcasses of grade 2 were transformed into a gutted carcass of a broiler chicken of grade 1. According to a similar scheme, turkey was "produced" from domestic chicken, and beef meat of the 1st grade was made from cutlet meat. Information about the detected violations was transferred to the veterinary services of the regions of the Russian Federation, wh ere veterinarians involved in illegal schemes work, for taking measures. The department will continue to conduct investigations and detect unfair entrepreneurs and employees of the state veterinary service with the help of developed information resources,’ the supervisory department noted.
Earlier, we reported that with the help of the “Mercury” system, the service revealed the illegal introduction of butter into circulation.
