The Rosselkhoznadzor suspects PepsiCo in hacker attack

The Rosselkhoznadzor assesses the situation with access to internal official documents received by PepsiCo as commercial espionage.
Such a finding was announced by the press-Secretary of the Rosselkhoznadzor Julia Melano.
"Taking into account the fact that in an internal document, which illegally ended up in the hands of representatives of the mentioned company, contained information on laboratory monitoring of dairy companies carried out by the Rosselkhoznadzor, the companies included in Corporation PepsiCo, possessing secret information, had a competitive advantage over Russian companies and were ready to carrying out of control actions”,- said the representative in the official comments.
She also said that in the nearest time the law enforcement agencies will be informed about the incident.
Sergey Glushkov, Vice-President on corporate relations PepsiCo Eastern Europe commented to The DairyNews on the statement of the Rosselkhoznadzor about the illegal access to official correspondence. He noted that PepsiCo and Wimm-Bill-Dann use only legal methods of interaction with government agencies, and did not receive in the company any requests for internal communications from the Department.
As it was previously reported, the Rosselkhoznadzor has accused PepsiCo of illegal access to official correspondence.
