The Russian Dairy Research Center (RDRC) and The DairyNews presented a mobile application - a price indicator for raw milk. The application is available for Android system.
The price indicator for raw milk allows you to know the weighted average price of raw milk in your region and in other regions of the Russian Federation.
1. The index is intended only for companies participating in the dairy market. To work with the Index You must be a producer or processor of milk.
2. Privacy. If you want to have information about the prices of raw milk, you need to share information about your price. Your price information will not be shared with third parties and will only be used to calculate the weighted average price of milk in your area.
3. Responsibility. Your price, taking into account the volume of your milk, will influence the price of raw milk in your region, as well as in the Russian Federation as a whole. Therefore, you should understand that you are responsible for the information provided.
4. Controllability. In order to avoid mistakes and unfair games, the program will not take into account your price indicators if they are 30% higher or lower than the average price in the region, as well as if the fluctuations in the volume of your milk for the week exceed 10% of the previously specified volume.
5. Regularity. The price of raw milk changes regularly. Therefore, access to the price must be updated weekly, that is, you need to enter the price of raw milk in the system on a weekly basis.
