The TOP 5 dairy plants process 7.7% of milk on the Russian market

In total the TOP 5 the largest dairy plants processed 1.3 million tons in 2016, 20.35% of the processed volume of the TOP 50 or 7.7% of the total volume of milk processed in the country. In 2016 the TOP 5 dairy plants processed 0.4% less than in 2015.


 
In the top five there have been some changes. The first place in the rating of 2016 is still the Lianozovsky dairy plant (PepsiCo), which in 2016 processed 418.4 thousand tons of raw milk. The second place is left for the company Danone, LLC Danone industry, with 292 thousand tons of processed milk per year. The third place in 2016, beating the Voronezh dairy plant (JSC Molvest), was occupied by LLC Uva-Moloko (217.5 thousand tons). The fourth place was taken by PJSC "Voronezhskiy Dairy plant" (202.6 thousand tons), the fifth - is another enterprise of Danone, JSC "Dairy Plant Petmol" (187.5 thousand tons). The Trust partnership Syr Starodubskiy left the top five and went down by three positions in the rating.
