The "United Russia" proposed to postpone the mandatory labeling of goods
It is proposed to postpone the introduction of mandatory labeling for those groups of products for which its introduction was envisaged in 2020.
In other words, we are talking about the labeling of tobacco, cigarettes, shoes, dairy products, perfumery products, in particular, perfumes, as well as tires and photographic equipment.
The measure is proposed to be included in the national action plan to normalize business life, restore employment, income of citizens and economic growth.
The rules on mandatory product labeling have been in effect in Russia since 2019. It was noted that the marking system is necessary to protect against forgery, as well as to better collect taxes.
It has to be noted that in Russia there is also a labeling of medicines.
However, the postponement of mandatory labeling of light industry goods in the Russian Federation is not planned, this is stated in a letter from the Department of light industry and forestry of the Ministry of industry and trade, addressed to the Russian Association of fashion industry participants.
