The US Congress has allocated 9.5 billion dollars to support agriculture

After several days of negotiations in the Senate, the US has adopted a package of economic stimulus measures worth more than 2 trillion dollars. 9.5 billion dollars will be allocated to support the agro-industrial complex.
The bill also provides targeted assistance to dairy farming and dairy plants. The Ministry of agriculture plans to use about $14 billion more to finance sub-sectors of agriculture in order to solve the problems caused by the consequences of COVID-19.
The bill will also allow a one-time payment of $ 1,200 to each adult American, $ 500 for a child.
It is assumed that payments to people who lost their jobs during this period will amount to $ 600 weekly for 4 months.
The National Federation of milk producers supported the bill prepared by the US Senate.
