The volume of lending in the agricultural sector increased by 30% and exceeded 1 trillion rubles during the first nine months of 2016

"Only during the last two years more than 500 investment projects were subsidized for 300 billion rubles of credit funds. According to analysts, the results of last years’ investments in agriculture have been among the best investment projects. Total amount of investments made 1.5 trillion rubles. There is a reason to believe that by 2020 the volume of investments in the sector will increase by another 1 trillion rubles.

For the first nine months of the current year the volume of loans given out to enterprises and organizations of the agroindustrial complex increased by 30% and exceeded RUB 1 trillion, including short-term loans already issued for more than 800 billion rubles (an increase by 28% compared to the same period in 2015), investment loans were issued in the amount of 250 billion rubles, the growth by 40% compared to the same period of 2015", - said Alexander Tkachev.

In 2016, Rosselkhozbank has significantly increased its financial support to Russian agribusiness and has fulfilled all its obligations under the state Program of agricultural development and agreement with the Agency on insurance of deposits. The activities of Rosselkhozbank contributed to a record grain yield and a significant increase in the production of other agricultural products. Compared to November 1, 2015 credit portfolio of the Bank grew by 8.6% to 1.7 trillion rubles, of which 1.1 trillion rubles is for loans to agricultural producers.

Rosselkhozbank is the main creditor of agro-industrial complex. Annually not only the volume of new loans increases, but the Bank's share in the market of agricultural lending: in the current year it increased by 12% and reached 68% - said Alexander Tkachev. - I believe that the Bank will continue to perform tasks to increase lending to the real sector of the economy. Despite all existing difficulties, together we can achieve positive changes. For 2016 we have been able to achieve the performance of the state Program and the food security Doctrine for the production of a number of products."
