The volume of milk sales by agricultural organizations increased by 6%

According to the operative data of the Ministry of agriculture of Russia, as of August 12 the daily volume of milk sales by agricultural enterprises amounted to 47.4 thousand tons, which is 6% more than at the same period last year (in 2018 - 44.7 thousand tons), reports The DairyNews with reference to the press service of the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation.
The average milk yield per cow per day was 17.2 kg, which is 1.15 kg more than a year earlier.
Leaders among regions on average daily milk yield are Leningrad, Kaluga, Kaliningrad, Kirov, Lipetsk, Vladimir, Belgorod, Vologda, Tula, Voronezh, Ryazan regions, the Republic of Crimea and Krasnodar region.
The maximum volume of milk sales per day are achieved in the Republic of Tatarstan, Krasnodar region, Voronezh, Kirov, Novosibirsk, Leningrad, Belgorod, Sverdlovsk, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod and Vologda regions, the Republics of Udmurtia and Bashkortostan, as well as the Altai and Krasnoyarsk regions.
