The volume of milk sales increased by 7.8%

According to operational data of the Ministry of agriculture of Russia, as of October 14, the daily volume of milk sales by agricultural organizations amounted to 44.4 thousand tons, which is 7.8% more than for the same period last year (in 2018 - 41.2 thousand tons), writes The DairyNews with reference to the press service of the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation.
The average milk yield from one cow per day amounted to 16.06 kg, which is 1.3 kg more than a year earlier.
The leaders among the regions in average daily milk yield are Leningrad, Kaluga, Kirov, Kaliningrad, Vologda, Belgorod, Vladimir, Tula, Lipetsk regions, the Republic of Crimea and Krasnodar region, which received more than 20 kg of milk per cow.
Maximum volumes of milk sales per day were achieved in the Republic of Tatarstan, Krasnodar region, Voronezh, Kirov, Sverdlovsk, Leningrad, Belgorod, Novosibirsk, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod and Vologda regions, the Republics of Udmurtia and Bashkortostan, as well as in the Altai region.
