‘Prior to the introduction of the requirements, labeling is optional and this period allows companies to continue testing their business processes and move smoothly to mandatory labeling. Now, taking into account the experiment, 4.7 million (units of dairy products - editor) have been labeled, 5 thousand have been dropped out,’ the ministry said.
They also noted that during the experiment, it was possible to test the application of codes on various types of packaging, to involve printing houses in this work, to create a map of standard technical solutions, to develop a roadmap for the smooth introduction of labeling in different segments, as well as to test the labeling system at all stages of product movement, which indicates the achievement of the goals of the experiment.
