The material was prepared by The DairyNews based on Rosstat data for small, medium and large agricultural enterprises of the country during the period from January to July 2017. It has to be noted that the top five leading farms as of August 1 produced 2.2 million tons of milk.

For the first seven months of the year, the rating results of the production of milk (produced by agricultural enterprises) are quite stable. In the top ten regions Moscow region has lost another line, showing the eighth result instead of the seventh. The rate of decline of milk production in this region has decreased.
