TOP 50 companies process 55.34% of milk on the Russian market
In total, the TOP 50 companies processed 10016070 tons of raw milk in 2017, which is 320.5 thousand tons, or 3.3% more than the 50 leaders of the rating of last year. At the same time, the share of the TOP 50 in the Russian volume of milk processing decreased to 55.34%. Last year the share of the 50 largest dairy companies was 56.34%.
The top ten of the rating also reduced its share in the Russian market to 29.61%.
The volume of milk production and processing on the market is growing, the concentration is decreasing and new players are appearing, including producers of raw milk. The plant of the Company Agrocomplex named after N.I. Tkachev is already included in the TOP 50, EkoNiva-APK Holding may be among the leaders in terms of recycling in the near future.
