Ukraine will invite Rospotrebnadzor's specialist to check Roshen's factories once again
Ukraine plans to invite specialists of Russia's Rospotrebnadzor once again to check the production facilities of the Roshen Corporation. This was announced by Nikolay Prisyazhnyuk, Minister for Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine. Relevant negotiations have been already conducted with Roshen owners and Ukrainian Association of Confectionery Companies.
Rospotrebnadzor banned imports of chocolate and candies produced at four Ukrainian plants of Roshen due to quality issues in July. During the period from 22 to 25 October Rospotrebnadzor has inspected confectionary plants of the Roshen Corporation. The inspections did not satisfy the former head of Rospotrebnadzor Gennady Onishchenko. In particular, the main supplier of milk powder to Roshen plants - Bershadmoloko - is not included into the list of companies allowed to export their produce to Russia.
