Ustyanskaya dairy company will build a farm for 3,229 cattle in Arkhangelsk region
Ustyanskaya dairy company is currently one of the largest agricultural enterprises in Arkhangelsk region. During the period from 2014 to 2018, the company implemented three major investment projects for the construction of livestock complexes in the dairy sector. The investment amount was more than a billion rubles.
Today, as part of a meeting in the regional government, Elena Lobantsova, General Director of Ustyanskaya dairy company, and Dmitry Kostylev, Director of Arkhangelsk regional branch of the Rosselkhozbank, signed a cooperation agreement, according to which Ustyanskaya dairy company will receive an investment loan of 2.5 billion rubles for the implementation of a new major project.
It is expected that by 2025, due to the implementation of the project for the construction of a dairy complex, it will be possible to organize high-tech milk production using advanced technical and technological solutions.
‘The agreement is aimed at solving priority tasks of socio-economic development of Arkhangelsk region. We expect that by 2025 the company will reach its design capacity and produce about 39 thousand tons of milk per year. This will give residents of the region even more environmentally friendly quality products. In addition, the project will create about 90 new jobs for residents of Ustyansky district,’ said Irina Zhachkina, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Rosselkhozbank.
According to the Minister of agriculture and trade of Arkhangelsk region Irina Bazhanova, this project is of great importance for the region.
‘In agriculture, we are developing in different directions, so it is important for us to provide comprehensive support for rural development,’ Irina Bazhanova said.
As part of the investment project, it is planned to use modern equipment for mechanization of production. The complex will use rotary milking parlour, which involves continuous milking of 80 cows. With the help of rotary milking parlour it will be possible to significantly speed up the milking procedure, reducing labor costs and maintaining the highest possible efficiency indicators. The project also involves the rearing of young animals.
A single complex with a total area of 57 hectares will include the necessary infrastructure, including administration, production, economic premises, boiler house and gas station.
Currently, active preparatory work for the construction of the complex is underway near the village Chernovskaya. Completion of construction and commissioning of facilities is planned in the 4th quarter of 2021.
