Valio in Russia reduced net loss more than 6 times
The company's revenue last year increased to 6.2 billion rubles against 5.4 billion rubles in 2016, the profit from sales amounted to 18.1 million rubles. In 2016 the selling was a loss of 98.3 million rubles.
As reported, in 2017 the company increased the production capacity of its enterprise in the Russian Federation (Moscow region) to 15 thousand tons of products per year. The total volume of investments in this site exceeded 67 million euros.
In addition to the plant in Moscow region, since the end of 2009 Valio has developed contract production in Russia. The output of Valio at five partnership enterprises by the results of 2017 rose by 9%.
The turnover of the concern Valio in 2017 increased by 4.3%. At the same time in Finland it remained at the level of last year and in export markets increased by 12.4%. The subsidiaries of Valio in Russia, the Baltic States, Sweden and China showed the best results, reported the company.
At present, the concern owns 13 plants in Finland, two in Estonia and one in Russia.
