Valio leaves open the possibility of collaboration with Teaching and Experimental Dairy Plant of Vologda State Milk Academy named after N.V. Vereshchagin. This is according to the company’s press-service information.
Earlier Aleksandr Ryndin, former plant’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, stated that Finnish Valio, Ukrainian Terra Grupp and PiR Produkt were interested in Vereshchagin Teaching and Experimental Dairy Plant.
According to Vologda Region Administration, the plant is processing around 20% of the raw milk sold in the region, its annual volume of whole milk products output totals 20,000 tons, of powdered milk products - around 2,000 and of butter - 2,500 tons. The company owns a patent on “Vologodskoye Maslo” (Vologda Butter).
