Valio: on the first day of cheese labeling, there were problems, but they were resolved

Valio company is a major market player, which was one of the first to declare its readiness to label dairy products.

‘On June 1, we observed some system failures that led to certain delays. However, the situation was quickly resolved by the CATD. Now the system works normally, the reaction speed is average,’ noted in the press service.

As for the payment of codes, the company said that the enterprise chose to pay upon the introduction of products into circulation, so this process has not been tested yet. At the same time, LLC Valio noted that there were no difficulties with replenishing the account.

The press service of the company added that the volume of unlabeled products produced before June 1 is still difficult to name.

‘Products without labeling will gradually be replaced by labeled products, in accordance with the provisions of the legislation. The shelf life of cheeses and ice cream allows that this process can take several months,’ concluded in the press service of LLC Valio.

Earlier, representatives of a number of enterprises have already complained about problems in the "Honest Mark" system, which occurred on the first day of the mandatory digital labeling of dairy products in the category of cheeses and ice cream.
