Valio plans to enter the TOP 5 manufacturers of curd cheese in Moscow and St. Petersburg
"Taking into account the fact that consumers have been waiting for this new product from Valio for a long time, as well as the fact that Valio is a world expert in the production of premium quality cheeses, it is expected that the new product will be successful and in the future will allow it to enter the TOP 5 producers of curd cheese in the markets of Moscow and St. Petersburg", commented the press service of Valio.
The company also noted that due to the entry into the new category, it is still difficult to talk about the exact volume of production of curd cheese. They will be formed and adjusted based on the demand for the product.
Earlier, The DairyNews with reference to the manufacturer's website reported that the premiere of four types of curd cheese will take place in January. They will be produced at the partner company of Valio - Tula dairy plant, which has passed a multi-stage comprehensive audit.

The work on the project on new types of products - curd cheese - was very productive and interesting, and it is very gratifying that we are cooperating with this company", commented Alexander Shirinkin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Tula dairy plant company.
According to DIA, in 2019, the volume of milk processing at the Tula dairy plant reached 80,040 tons.
Today, Valio works with nine partner companies. Only last year, the company signed contracts with two new sites. According to the press service of the company, Valio is fully open to cooperation and plans to expand its range, both at its own factory in Moscow region and at partner production sites.
