Since July 1, 2018 manufacturers in the Russian Federation must prepare veterinary certificates for animal products in electronic form in the "Mercury" system. Since July 1, 2019, it will be obligatory to prepare veterinary certificates for all finished livestock products, except for part of dairy products. Veterinary certificates for drinking milk, fermented dairy products in consumer packaging and ice cream will be issued from November 1.
"We will ensure that children will not be given surrogates instead of butter. We will definitely make the companies do it", said Dankvert. According to him, earlier some companies "cheated the budget, because VAT for the products with vegetable oil is 18%, and for natural milk - 10%, that is, people did not pay 8%. Across the country it means billions of rubles".
