Vietnamese TH True Milk plans to invest more than 30 billion rubles in the cattle farming of Primorye

The inclusion of the investor in the number of residents of the territory of priority development "Mikhaylovskiy" was discussed at a meeting chaired by Deputy Prime Minister- Plenipotentiary representative of RF President in the Far Eastern Federal district Yuri Trutnev on Thursday, August 17. The event was attended by the Governor of Primorye Vladimir Miklushevskiy.

For the first time the implementation of the project on the development of crop production, dairy husbandry and milk processing by the Vietnamese company TH True Milk was spoken about in April this year – then, during the meeting of Vladimir Miklushevskiy with the Chairman of the Corporation TH Thai Huong, it was decided to place in Primorye a breeding complex of complete cycle with an annual production capacity of more than 60 thousand tons of dairy products.

Today, especially for the implementation of ideas in the region there have been selected about 30 thousand hectares of land in Spassk and Yakovlevka districts. To provide the investor with the right to use preferential mechanisms operating in the region and thereby create favorable conditions for the development of the project, it was agreed to include land in the boundaries of the territory of priority development.

"Today we agreed to expand the territory of priority development "Mikhaylovskiy" and to include the selected parcels in its boundaries. Development Corporation of Far East will put them on the cadastral account and count what investments will have to be made in infrastructure, in terms of energy, roads, water supply," said following the meeting, Plenipotentiary Yuri Trutnev.

According to the Governor of the region Vladimir Miklushevskiy, the decision will allow to build appropriate infrastructure at the expense of the regional budget.

"The investor plans to invest 30 billion rubles in implementation of the project, and we will help them to create infrastructure", – said the Head of the region.

We will remind, earlier Vladimir Miklushevskiy said that Primorye is extremely interested in the development of dairy farming, today the region provides a market with its own milk only by 40%. However, for this type of production the region has all necessary conditions and benefits against other constituent entities of the Far East.

"We have experience of implementing export-oriented manufactures. First of all, there are ice-free ports and the international transport corridor "Primorye-1" along the region that connects them with the Chinese province Heilongjiang. This will allow transporting goods to other countries in the Asia Pacific region and our neighbours from Asia are interested in environmentally friendly products", – said the Governor.
