Vladimir Labinov forecasts butter and whole milk products prices growth by 5-7%.
The current situation in Russia’s dairy sector is “quite comfortable”, the expert said. Volumes of whole milk products production and sales are growing, cheese and butter sectors are showing slight decrease. Production of milk in agricultural enterprises is growing steadily, he concluded.
According to The DairyNews survey, 42% of RF dairy market participants predict that milk purchasing prices in Russia may increase by 10-20% before the end of the year; 35% of respondents forecast not more than 10% growth or absence of price change.
