Vladimir Putin: during the pandemic, agriculture did everything to provide the country with harvest
"The dramatically changed way of life, worries and fears, the bitterness of losses, how to provide for the family and children - these were the last months. Despite everything, it was also a time of hope and pride for those who showed their best qualities. It is very important that there was no confusion in our society. On the contrary, many people were united by a clear understanding of the situation and the realization that we can only fight and win together", said Vladimir Putin, stressing that the main thing is to work ahead of the curve and mobilize all reserves, increasing all the capabilities of industry and healthcare.
"It was obvious that it was impossible to completely block out the threat. From the very beginning, we chose a flexible model for dealing with coronavirus. Russia is one of the few countries in the world that has managed to establish production of its own medicines. In extreme conditions, trade, energy, and schools worked. Everyone in their place in our country has done everything possible", said Vladimir Putin, noting that agriculture has done everything to provide the country with harvest.
