Vladimir Putin proposed introducing higher pensions for agricultural workers with experience over 30 years in rural areas

Today the Russian President spoke to the citizens of the country and announced a number of measures to mitigate the pension reform, reports The DairyNews.

In addition, the Head of state noted the need to support the villagers.
- It was regularly discussed and even decided on the need for a 25-percent premium to a fixed payment of insurance pension for non-working pensioners living in rural areas who have at least 30 years of seniority in agriculture. But the entry into force of this decision was postponed. I propose to initiate these payments since January 1, 2019, - said Vladimir Putin.
