Vladimir Putin signed a law postponing obligatory EVC to July 1, 2019
The document was published today on the official portal of normative legal acts.
The term of obligatory registration of veterinary accompanying documents in electronic form for controlled goods, for which veterinary accompanying documents were not issued until July 1, 2018, is postponed in this regard to July 1, 2019.
It should be reminded that in late June the Ministry of agriculture issued an order, according to which the finished dairy products were removed from the list of goods controlled by the system "Mercury", for which there should be issued electronic veterinary certificates. In general, the EVC of supervised products in Russia began to operate since 1 July 2018.
The adoption of this draft law on EVC will not change anything, experts say, because in the new version of the documents there is no separate category of products for which the veterinary accompanying documents were not previously issued. Currently, there are no products subject to this law. However, there is a list of controlled goods, in which there are no finished dairy products.
