The President of the Russian Federation stressed that to ensure healthy competition of the dairy industry, the state will implement all possible regulatory tools, writes The DairyNews. In particular, it is about the control of supplies of cheese-like products and gray imports.
"We will regulate the supply of milk powder and cheese-like products. The Ministry of agriculture adheres to a position similar to the Ministry of agriculture and food of Belarus about control and ban of cheese-like products. We're all going to do it and to tighten control. Of course, measure is a treasure, but we will provide an honest market", Vladimir Putin said.
Earlier, the Head of the Agrarian Committee of the Public chamber of the Russian Federation Yevgenia Uvarkina announced a number of problems of the dairy industry.
"Belarus prohibits the production and transit of cheese-like products. It is primarily aimed at protection of the Belarusian market," - said Yevgenia Uvarkina.
