Yaroslavl LLC Agromir has launched a dairy complex "Kurba" for 1400 cows
The costs for the implementation of the project for the commissioning of the dairy farm amounted to more than 186 million rubles.
In 2021, LLC Agromir received support in the amount of 27.5 million rubles from the federal and regional budgets, including subsidies to compensate for part of the cost of purchased agricultural machinery and technological equipment and equipment purchased on the terms of financial lease (leasing), for the production of its own milk and product growth, for carrying out agrotechnological works and the purchase of pedigree cattle.
In general, the company Agromir has done a lot of work on the acquisition of the dairy complex "Kurba", which was in the bankruptcy procedure.
В целом предприятие «Агромир» провело большую работу по приобретению молочного комплекса «Курба», который находился в процедуре банкротства.
The team of Agromir repaired two cowsheds on its own, completely replaced the milking and refrigeration equipment, power supply networks, restored the water supply system. Also, works were carried out to improve the territory of the complex: silo trenches were restored, equipment for servicing livestock and forage harvesting was purchased.
Today, the Agromir enterprise keeps 6,600 units of cattle, of which 2,900 are milking cows of Holstein, black-and-white and Yaroslavl breeds. The milking herd is kept at 3 modern dairy complexes with a free stall housing technology with milking in milking parlours and at 1 complex with a tied-up housing technology and milking in a milk pipeline.
The new dairy and commodity complex "Kurba" will accommodate 1400 units of cattle – 800 new ones and 600 will be redistributed from the existing animals of other branches of LLC Agromir.
Now in Agromir the gross milk yield reaches 22.2 thousand tons per year, the milk yield per 1 cow is 8801 kg (higher than the average for the region). After the commissioning of the dairy complex, the volume of milk production will increase to 27 thousand tons of milk per year. Thus, the increase will be more than 20%
‘In total, we are implementing 7 investment projects worth 9 billion rubles in the field of dairy farming today. The projects will provide about 450 jobs,’ Valery Kholodov concluded.
