Among 40 candidates – 20 representatives of industry bodies and unions (7 of them are acting CC members, 13 – new), 20 – people of public significance (only 5 of them are newcomers).
Agricultural producers are represented by Yevgeniya Uvarkina (Souzmoloko, head of TRIO Farming Company in Lipetsk Region) and Aleksandr Shipulin (Farmers’ Association).
Additional 43 CC members will be elected by poll on the official Russian Public Initiative web-site, other 83 members will be proposed by regional Civic Chambers – one from each region.
